This is the all-time, grand slam combination of delights to lift you up and feed your heart, your soul, and your mind. At 5 different bookstores in Lavapies, Amores Berros is setting up a feast, and Delia records is putting on a festival.

Bands signed to this label will be performing at several of Lavapies’ most charming bookshops, while local producers at Amores Berros provide organic food on the menu of the day.

At first, some light indie chill-out flavors will serenade diners munching on clean greens and other assorted seasonal veggies.

The lulling vibes will carry on into the afternoon as the attendees roam around the store and peruse books in English and Spanish; from high literature to rugged pulp fiction, they’ll have some choosing to do.

But then it’s time to crank up the volume for some harder rock and spiced wine as 5 different bands from Delia records wrap up the event with a live show celebrating the food and words and sounds that enrich our lives.
